The
Champion 990 Base Model is anything but. In the field for over 40 years, its
strength is in it's durability. Using a minimal amount of floor space, the 990
delivers the highest speed and accuracy of any machine of its kind. Capable of
running a stock range from a 9 lb. onion skin to a 40pt. board, the basic 990
can even run the open end of multiple part sets or books.
Constructed to long out-live it's selling price, all of the Champion Series have
an indestructible cast iron base and perfectly ground concentric Sheffield steel
shafts.
All models are easy to set up and operate. Perform scoring, perforating, slitting
and semi-slitting with total accuracy, at speeds up to 18,000 sph. With dozens
of choices in head and blade styles and the ability to run in-line with other
finishing equipment the Champion 990 is designed for profit.
Increased profitability means increased growth for your company. As your needs
change, you can upgrade from the base Champion 990 to a Turbo Airfeed or Deep
Pile feed system.
