The Champion 990 — Ideal for smaller print runs requiring top quality.
With only a minimal amount of floor space, the Champion 990 delivers perforating, scoring and slitting with the highest speed and accuracy of any machine of its kind. This is the ideal system for smaller runs and those shops not requiring a high level of automation. The 990 operates at speeds up to 18,000 sph while maintaining absolute accuracy. The Champion 990 Double Head design includes two tandem shafts in perfect registration so the first head can lightly score while the second head follows with a deeper score—reducing the chance of ink cracking, regardless of coverage, grain direction or stock weight. The Champion 18" and 24" models are the most common sizes for digital finishing but wider models are also available—30", 36", & 42" sizes.
