Business card sheets will be finished and delivered into
an automatic boxing unit for high volume business card production.
Multiple-up images are trimmed and slit in two directions, delivering
finished product with 100% accuracy, eliminating the need for
multiple machines, manpower and stock movement. This system
is ideal for all multiple up products including playing cards,
game cards, reply cards and much more. Recently introduced at
Drupa, this new delivery system is another example of Rollem's
in-line designs, eliminating extra machinery, steps and personnel.
Automation in direct mail finishing will also be demonstrated
on the TR system in-line with plough folding, gluing, business
card tip in and glue closure. Rollem streamlines finishing
further with the ability to "maintain the zip code integrity
of the mail" from Feeding to Finishing to Mail Trays.
Rollem will also demonstrate NEW paper drilling technology
with the PB-15 and the new PB-09F models. The PB-15 system increases
paper drilling productivity with automatic feeding, jogging,
drilling and delivery of products including loose-leaf,
collated products with tabs, perfect bounds books, and stitched
products and spiral & wire-o all at speeds up to 1,500
piles per hour – twice the speed of standard drilling! Paper
size and margins are programmed and set electronically and the
cooling and lubricating system lengthens the life of drill bits.
The PB-15 performs up to 10 times higher than traditional drilling
methods by eliminating the manual work in the drilling process.
The new PB-09F is a high speed automatic drilling machine at
a most economical price performing the same functions as PB-15
at a more economical price.
