Capabilities include die-cutting, kiss-cutting, perforating, creasing, cut-scoring and embossing on a range of papers, vinyl, PVC, styrene and polypropylenes up to 30 pt. in thickness.
Existing packaging companies see Insignia as the perfect complement to their high-volume production die cutting machines. With its ease of operation, economical price point and fast set-ups, they can avoid lengthy changeovers on their larger die cutters and instead put test runs or shorter runs on the Insignia. The system does not required a skilled machine operator, instead a day of training and installation leaves the operator capable of running the machine. With operating speeds up to 5,000 sph, three types of delivery options including the ability to operate in-line with a folder/gluer system, the Insignia handles products including folded cartons, flat line boxes, labels, retail hang tags, card carriers, PSA stickers and many more.
Insignia is available in three sizes, Insignia 6 – 20×20”, and the Insignia7 – 24×30″sheets. Insignia X3 handles 24×24” and cuts up to 30 pt. thicknesses. The flexo-magnetic dies are a simple change over from job to job and the machine does not require a skilled operator. Rollem offers information about designing and ordering flexible dies for those who are not familiar with this type of die.
Insignia operates either in-line or near-line with our folding/gluing systems to produce finished cartons and other packaging products, all in one process.
Insignia is proudly produced in the U.S.A. by Rollem International.
The Slipstream is Rollem’s specialty converting machine utilized by most of the gaming card, playing card and sports collector producers in the U.S. Slipstream converts 28×40” sheets into sorted, corner rounded decks – all at speeds up to 500,000 pieces per hour.
